If you are visiting Salzburg, it is a no-brainer to buy the Salzburg Card. We used our card to visit Mozart Birthplace and Residence, Hohensalzburg, and Untersberg Cable Car. Totally worth it! There are plenty other attraction options that are covered by the Card.
We liked the use of public transport and the museums. The zoo was a highlight. An online card would have been good as we lost a card and there was no replacement option.

Pleased with the free or reduced discounts. Enjoyed the transport. Liked the booklet of options. Did not like that i have to appear at tourist office to validate. Should have been on line. It cost us 2 fares to get to tourist office.
Able to visit a good number of attractions, including some that we would not have considered paying single entry price for. Purchase experience was not as expected - we expected to have an e-card and be able to use it immediately but instead had to head in the opposite direction to that intended to go and swap the e-voucher for a physical card.
The Salzburg card was well worth it. It included all travel and so many different activities including a river cruise. Recommend to anyone
We had the Salzbueg Card for 3 days and were able to make good use of it for various museums and thus saved quite a bit.

It is very pleasant not always having to queue at a ticket counter, and not having to buy bus tickets from the driver or from the ticket machines every day. With the Card, admission and the trains to the sights are a lot cheaper - you see more than if you had to pay extra for everything. I think the card is very good.
